Job Description

Night-shift Escalator Engineer maintaining and repairing escalators and moving walkways across Greater London transport networks. Stannah manufactures and services lifts, escalators, and homelifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, service, and repair escalators and moving walkways
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on equipment from various manufacturers
  • Work across KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment
  • Work on major rail stations, underground infrastructure, and airport links across Greater London, including Gatwick and Stansted rail stations
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care
  • Perform effective risk assessments
  • Maintain site log cards during every visit
  • Keep critical passenger equipment operating safely and reliably

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering
  • Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways
  • Valid UK driving license is essential
  • Experienced escalator engineer living within the M25
  • Mechanical and electrical fault-finding expertise
  • Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
  • Sponsorship is not available
