Job Description

Evening therapist delivering virtual mental health therapy for Shift Collab, a national Canadian practice. Conducting Meet & Greets, treatment planning, and client care during weekday evenings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, accessible virtual mental health therapy across Canada
  • Commit to evening session slots between 6 and 9 PM EST on weekdays
  • Conduct Meet & Greet sessions and establish strong therapeutic relationships
  • Develop thoughtful treatment plans and support client retention
  • Build and maintain a sustainable caseload in partnership with the practice
  • Manage clinical sessions and notes through the secure telehealth platform
  • Focus on clinical care and client relationships while Shift Collab handles billing, scheduling, intake administration, marketing, referrals, and back-office operations
  • Participate in supervision, peer groups, team meetings, workshops, webinars, clinical training, and knowledge-sharing

Requirements:

  • Master's in Social Work or Counselling Psychology, registered as an MSW RSW or RP
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Reliable internet and a secure, private workspace
  • Strong virtual therapy skills and comfort with telehealth platforms
  • Professional references
  • Vulnerable Sector Check required for all successful candidates
  • Experience or certifications in ADHD and neurodiversity, EMDR, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, IFS, anxiety, work stress and burnout, or OCD are an asset
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English is a strong asset

  • Availability from 6 to 9 PM EST on weekdays
