Job Description
Senior Backend Developer with 5-8 years of experience creating web applications using PHP and Go at SnappyCX. Collaborate on defining, designing, and shipping new features in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build, test, and maintain robust, scalable web applications and microservices using PHP, Go, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that bridge our PHP and Go ecosystems.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability, specifically leveraging Go for high-concurrency tasks.
- Proactively troubleshoot and debug complex issues across different language environments to ensure smooth functionality.
Requirements:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in PHP development.
- Proven professional experience writing and maintaining production-level code in Go (Golang).
- Proficiency in JavaScript and MySQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and experience with concurrency patterns in Go.
- Experience with PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
