Job Description
Expert C++ Software Engineer taking a leading role in developing applications for medical devices at Nagarro. Guiding design, assuring code quality, and leveraging AI tools.
Responsibilities:
- Take a leading technical role in the development of software for medical devices
- Lead the design and development of complex C++ applications
- Define technical approaches and contribute to software architecture and system design
- Guide component design, APIs, and integration with hardware and external systems
- Drive performance optimization, code quality, and long-term maintainability
- Support system integration, debugging, and technical problem-solving
- Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices
- Ensure compliance with development processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity across the SDLC
Requirements:
- 9+ years of professional experience with C++ software development
- Strong expertise in software architecture and object-oriented design
- Experience building high-performance, scalable applications
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and code review experience
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and AI-assisted development tools
- Nice to have: Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 13485
- Experience with hardware integration, embedded systems, or device communication
