Job Description
Senior Rust Consultant entwickelt High-End-Software und skalierbare Architekturen für CmdScales Maschinenbaukunden. Beratung auf C-Level- und Architekturebene sowie direkte Code-Entwicklung in Kundenprojekten.
Responsibilities:
- Join exciting client projects directly after a fast and appropriate onboarding period
- Develop high-end software for renowned market leaders and global players
- Advise clients at C-level and architecture level
- Take on consulting responsibilities and actively contribute to code development from the initial client contact through project completion
- Support clients in balancing future-oriented technologies with economic sustainability
- Develop modern technologies and scalable architectures in line with established best practices
- Independently determine the best technical solutions
- Exchange knowledge and collaborate with internal open-source and engineering teams
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of demonstrable professional experience developing with Rust
- Expert-level knowledge of memory management and concurrency
- Experience providing professional consulting services to clients
- Ability to structure complex topics and present them confidently to groups
- Strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to demonstrate Rust code or project references
- Fluent German and English communication skills for technical discussions and interaction with teams and clients
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites, on average once per quarter
- Full-time commitment
- Knowledge of or experience with Rust, Go, TypeScript, Python, C++, C#/.NET, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, MQTT, React, Vue.js, Svelte, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Kubernetes, BalenaOS, NixOS, Grafana, Prometheus, GitLab CI, GitLab Actions, AWS, and Azure
