Job Description
Field Service Engineer commissioning, maintaining, and repairing clean-energy and industrial power systems for Sensata Technologies. Troubleshooting electrical controls and training operators at U.S. customer sites with up to 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Engage with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
- Create reports analyzing product failures and issues.
- Provide feedback on product enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Determine the most cost-effective repair or resolution to minimize customer downtime.
- Commission, maintain, and repair power conversion and generation equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical testing, communication systems work, and control integration.
- Develop technical reports and procedures and provide operator training.
- Work independently and as part of a technical team.
Requirements:
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning, and time-management skills
- Self-accountability for achieving goals and standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Eligibility to obtain authorization under ITAR and/or EAR; Non-US Persons may not be eligible
- Ability to travel up to 50% to customer sites across the U.S.
