Job Description
Finance Business Partner advising senior leaders at Bolton Clarke, an Australian not-for-profit aged-care and home-care provider. Driving forecasting, reporting, analytics and business improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to provide financial, operational and strategic advice, supporting informed decision-making and business performance improvement
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes with managers and executives to develop accurate financial plans
- Deliver management, executive and Board reporting, including performance analysis, trend reporting and statistical insights
- Use Microsoft Power BI and IBM Cognos Planning Analytics to analyse large datasets, enhance reporting and identify business opportunities
- Conduct scenario modelling, cost-benefit analysis and financial reviews to identify efficiency gains, cost savings and improved business outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with CA or CPA qualifications (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or advisory role, providing financial, operational and strategic support within a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience, including preparation of management, executive and Board-level reports
- Advanced data analytics and reporting capability, including extensive experience with Power BI, large datasets, data warehouses and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to provide decision support and partner effectively with senior leaders
- Knowledge of IBM Cognos Planning Analytics and experience in complex, multi-site or geographically dispersed service organisations would be highly regarded
