  • Extract, transform and model financial data using SQL and Sigma, working directly from source systems
  • Build high-impact dashboards and outputs that support fast, confident decision-making
  • Turn data into insight — identifying trends, surfacing risks, and delivering clear commercial narrative
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting support, including model ownership, actuals integration, and variance analysis
  • Drive data quality, governance, and efficiency — partnering with Data teams and creating scalable, reusable solutions

Requirements:

  • Strong SQL capability — confident writing queries across complex, multi-table data sets from scratch
  • Experience with Sigma or a comparable BI tool (e.g. Looker, Mode, Metabase)
  • Solid understanding of financial data (P&L, costs, headcount) and how it supports decision-making
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning processes
  • Ability to translate analysis into clear, concise insight for a Finance audience
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and curious — with strong ownership of data quality
  • Any experience with Databricks, Python, or modern data modelling tools (e.g. dbt) will be seen as desirable!

Benefits:

  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
  • Option to buy or sell 5 extra annual leave days per year
  • Vitality Health Insurance, including private healthcare, virtual GP access, mental‑health support and wellbeing perks (50% off gym memberships -Virgin Active, Nuffield, PureGym)
  • Pension with 5% matched contribution
  • Regular team‑wide and company‑wide events
  • 2 volunteering days per year to give back
  • Remote‑first working environment with offices in London and Nottingham
