Job Description
Finance Systems Lead ensuring the effectiveness of financial modules for ERP Benner at VOLL. Collaborating with Finance and IT to optimize financial processes and governance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the review and restructuring of the accounting and financial modules in the Benner ERP;
- Ensure correct accounting, financial and tax parameterization of the system;
- Define and implement best practices for ERP governance and usage.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Controllership, Accounting, and IT for ERP-related matters with the software vendor;
- Ensure the ERP adequately supports accounting and financial close processes;
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information produced by the system.
- Map, review, and optimize financial workflows within the ERP;
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains;
- Reduce parallel controls outside the system (spreadsheets, legacy systems, and manual processes).
- Lead improvements, enhancements, and new implementations within the ERP;
- Specify functional requirements and oversee developments;
- Participate in major projects involving financial systems.
- Serve as the ERP functional reference for the finance team;
- Train users and promote best practices for system use;
- Support the resolution of systemic issues and inconsistencies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the tourism industry.
- Essential experience with Benner ERP (preferably in tourism).
- Experience with accounting and financial processes and workflows.
- Experience with ERP implementations.
- Knowledge of databases (strong plus).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering (Production, Computer, or related fields).
