Job Description
Fraud Data Analyst protecting global social gaming brands through fraud detection and risk optimization. Analyzing player behavior, improving rulesets, and supporting client risk-engine deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze fraud and risk data to identify suspicious patterns and high-risk player behavior across multiple brands
- Monitor and investigate member account activities including registrations, purchases, and redemptions using fraud prevention tools
- Review and optimize existing fraud rulesets, analyzing performance and proposing improvements to strengthen defenses
- Generate detailed suspicious activity and risk management reports for leadership teams
- Support newly onboarded clients in setting up their fraud rule engines and scoring systems
- Stay current with fraud prevention trends and implement innovative testing approaches to stay ahead of threats
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with SEON or similar fraud prevention rule engines
- Direct experience in the gaming or casino industry with understanding of player behaviors and fraud risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and investigation
- Experience working effectively across multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders
