Job Description
Freelance Finnish-English medical post-editor refining clinical trial documents. Supporting IQVIA’s life-sciences language solutions through accurate, compliant healthcare communication.
Responsibilities:
- Translate, post-edit, and review clinical trial documentation
- Ensure documents adhere to target-language medical and ethical standards
- Enhance readability, accuracy, and coherence of scientific and medical materials without altering the original meaning
- Collaborate with translation teams and provide constructive feedback
- Suggest necessary corrections
- Stay updated with medical terminology and advancements
- Ensure documents comply with applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Contribute to global health communication and help bridge language barriers in medical knowledge
Requirements:
- Proven experience in clinical translation/post-editing
- Native or near-native fluency in English
- Fluency in the source language
- Proven experience in software localization, such as apps and websites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent written communication skills
- Deep understanding of clinical terminology and concepts
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Certification in medical post-editing, translation, or a related discipline preferred
- Experience with memoQ preferred

- Medical/Pharma degree would be a plus
