Job Description
Freelance software tester evaluating streaming apps for Testlio, a global software testing company. Executing functional tests and reporting defects on Titan OS Smart TVs.
Responsibilities:
- Create an account on the Testlio platform
- Install the app build on a Titan OS Smart TV following provided instructions
- Execute functional test cases covering navigation, playback, login/account behavior, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functional quality
- Report bugs with clear reproduction steps and screenshots/recordings
- Provide feedback on issues found during each testing run
- Work on short-term freelance testing assignments
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- Must be physically located in the United Kingdom during October and November
- Must be comfortable navigating a streaming app in English; native/bilingual English preferred
- Availability for 30 minutes of Testlio account setup
- Availability for approximately 2–4 hours of testing per run; some runs may last up to 12 hours
- Smart TV working on Titan OS, including Philips TV, Vestel TV, or JVC TV
- Software testing experience is a plus, but not required
