Job Description
Full Stack Developer enhancing government web applications as part of an agile scrum team at MetroStar. Collaborating to deliver value across two-week sprints.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an agile scrum team, participating in all agile ceremonies
- Complete user stories during two-week sprints which will enhance React and Ruby on Rails based web applications
- Collaborate with your scrum team to refine requirements and propose solutions to complex problems
- Continuously improve the team's approach in order to increase efficiency and quality of delivery
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
- 3+ years' experience working as a software developer in a web-based application framework
- Proven full stack application development experience with React frontend and Ruby on Rails backend
- Experience with Git based source code repositories such as Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket
- Experience building web applications on cloud-based infrastructure
- Excellent writing and communications skills
- Experience working as part of a collaborative agile scrum team
