Job Description
Develop software for critical use cases in Germany with a focus on digital security. Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams at a leading provider of Intelligent Decision Support Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- You develop software that matters — for safety-critical applications and digital security in Germany.
- In an agile Scrum team, you work end-to-end on high-performance applications based on the Empolis platform.
- You implement new features on the Empolis platform for safety-critical applications.
- From the Java-based backend via REST APIs to the Angular frontend, you are responsible for complete full‑stack solutions.
- You evaluate technical requirements in a structured way and actively contribute to designing robust solution architectures.
- By contributing to CI/CD pipelines you ensure stable deployments and high software quality.
- With analytical thinking and creativity, you solve complex problems and drive targeted improvements to existing solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Several years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot as well as implementing REST APIs and microservices
- Experience with Angular, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, relational and NoSQL databases, Git, and CI/CD pipelines; experience with Lua scripting is a plus
- Structured and analytical working style, high degree of personal responsibility, enjoyment of teamwork and complex technical challenges
- Very good German skills and good English skills for communication in an international environment.
