Job Description
Fullstack Developer modernizing legacy Delphi and Zoho applications for CodeRoad’s technology execution clients. Building Python, Django, React, API, and database solutions remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to migrating existing Delphi and Zoho applications into modern web architectures
- Build and enhance frontend features using React and backend services using Python and Django
- Work across frontend and backend components to deliver reliable, end-to-end functionality
- Support and enhance Zoho CRM, Creator, Desk, Books, and Analytics applications
- Implement custom functions, workflows, and business process automation using Deluge where applicable
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Delphi (Object Pascal) applications
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integrations across legacy applications, modern web services, databases, and third-party platforms
- Write and optimize SQL queries; support data migration and validation; maintain data integrity
- Use AI-assisted coding and development tools to accelerate implementation, understand legacy codebases, generate and validate tests, troubleshoot issues, and improve workflows
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders
- Translate requirements into well-tested, documented solutions
- Follow Git, code review, and CI/CD practices while owning assigned tasks
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience in full stack development, legacy application maintenance, system integrations, or legacy modernization projects
- Hands-on experience with Python, preferably Django
- Experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript development
- React experience is preferred
- Strong SQL skills are required
- Experience maintaining, migrating, refactoring, or modernizing legacy applications
- Ability to understand existing codebases and transition legacy functionality to modern architectures
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with Git, version control, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
- Azure is preferred; AWS or GCP experience is also valuable
- Proactive approach to using AI tools for coding, unfamiliar codebases, automation, testing, and technical problem-solving
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and willingness to explore new AI capabilities
- Familiarity with Delphi (Object Pascal), Zoho platforms, Deluge scripting, or Zoho workflow automation is advantageous but not required
