Job Description
Software Engineer developing and operating Azure-based .NET platforms for Finanzen.net’s investment and financial-information businesses. Building cloud applications, APIs, and reliable systems within agile engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a small, agile software development team with interfaces across all areas of the company
- Further develop the cloud-based software solution using .NET 10 and Microsoft Azure
- Take responsibility for the entire system lifecycle based on the “You build it, you run it” principle
- Monitor systems and dashboards
- Perform root-cause analyses to continuously optimize the platforms
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience developing and operating cloud-based web applications, ideally with Microsoft Azure
- Excellent knowledge of software development with .NET (C#)
- Business-fluent German skills at a minimum C1 level
- Experience working with large volumes of data
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented approach to work
- Strong initiative, communication skills, and ability to give and receive feedback
- Ideally, experience with C# (MVC, Razor Pages, Blazor), .NET APIs, SQL, NoSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, Terraform, continuous integration, infrastructure as code, Scrum, or Kanban
- Initial experience or knowledge of the FinTech, brokerage, or financial markets environment is an advantage
