Job Description
Functional QA Engineer focusing on manual and functional testing at Applaudo. Collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality solutions for WordPress and WooCommerce applications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and regression testing for WordPress and WooCommerce applications.
- Validate emergency-profile workflows and end-user experiences.
- Verify application behavior following security, PHP, architecture, and infrastructure changes.
- Test role-based access control (RBAC) permissions and access scenarios.
- Validate QR-based access and profile retrieval workflows.
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers and project stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Support validation efforts associated with platform modernization, security improvements, and compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Functional Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience performing manual and functional testing.
- Experience designing, executing, and maintaining test cases.
- Experience conducting regression testing.
- Experience validating end-to-end user flows and business processes.
- Strong defect identification, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage testing activities with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Nice-to-Have: Experience testing WordPress applications.
- Experience testing WooCommerce implementations.
- Security testing awareness.
- Exposure to automation tools or frameworks.
- Experience validating Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Experience testing QR-based workflows or access scenarios.
- Familiarity with healthcare, compliance, or security-sensitive applications.
