Job Description

Global Process Engineer developing and deploying global standards for manufacturing processes at Aero Alliance. Collaborating with technical leaders to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Qualify, and Improve manufacturing processes
  • Define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders
  • Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including: facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training
  • Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes
  • Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications
  • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving quality processes
  • Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to eliminate the problems from re-occurring
  • Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization
  • Train local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment
  • Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Aeroderivative, Aircraft Engine, or Gas Turbine Testing and Balancing
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking
