Job Description
Healthcare Data Analyst working remotely, extracting and analyzing healthcare data. Collaborating with teams to provide insights and reports from patient and operational data.
Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and analyze patient data from Salesforce, EMR systems, and other data sources
- Pull patient records and generate statistical analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare data standards and privacy regulations (HIPAA, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support
- Present insights and findings in a clear, actionable format for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain documentation of data processes, definitions, and reporting standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, charts, Power Query preferred)
- Ability to extract and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources
- Solid understanding of healthcare terminology, workflows, and patient data structures
- Experience with statistical analysis and performance metrics
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
