Job Description

Imaging Administrator supporting PACS, RIS, voice recognition, and cardiology imaging systems for U.S. healthcare operations. Optimizing workflows, integrations, compliance, and clinical technology support.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Sectra PACS environments, including configuration, user management, workflow optimization, and system monitoring
  • Manage critical results reporting workflows using Primordial
  • Administer and troubleshoot PowerScribe 360, including user profiles, templates, speech recognition performance, and interface connections
  • Support cardiology imaging applications, including CVIS, echocardiography systems, modality workstations, and structured reporting tools
  • Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and data integrity across imaging platforms
  • Analyze radiology and cardiology workflows to identify improvements and reduce turnaround time
  • Collaborate with department leadership and technologists on modality connectivity and exam lifecycle management
  • Maintain system dictionaries, protocol settings, and configuration standards across the Abrazo market
  • Support DICOM configuration and HL7 interface troubleshooting
  • Integrate imaging systems with EMR and enterprise systems
  • Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and maintenance with vendors and internal IS teams
  • Maintain modality worklist functionality and troubleshoot acquisition, routing, and image storage issues
  • Ensure imaging systems meet regulatory and accreditation requirements, including ACR, Joint Commission, and HIPAA
  • Maintain audit logs, user access reviews, and data retention policies
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and downtime planning
  • Provide training and support to radiologists, technologists, cardiologists, and clinical staff
  • Develop documentation, quick guides, and communications regarding system changes, downtime, and new features
  • Liaise between clinical teams and technical support groups for imaging-related issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Imaging Science, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 2 year of experience in imaging informatics or PACS administration within a healthcare environment
  • Hands-on experience with Sectra PACS
  • Hands-on experience with Primordial (Critical Results Management)
  • Hands-on experience with PowerScribe 360 (PS360)
  • Hands-on experience with cardiology imaging systems, such as CVIS, echo, cath lab, and structured reporting applications
  • Strong understanding of DICOM, HL7, imaging modalities, and clinical imaging workflows
  • Selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
  • Up to 25% travel as needed
  • Preferred: experience supporting enterprise imaging across multi-facility markets
  • Preferred: vendor certifications (Sectra, Nuance/PS360, cardiology applications)
  • Preferred: knowledge of EMR integration, such as Cerner or Epic
  • Preferred: understanding of cybersecurity best practices for imaging systems
  • Preferred: experience with project management or system implementation
