Job Description
Senior Java-Backend-Entwicklung für Rockstardevelopers, einen deutschen Softwareentwickler für Enterprise- und Mittelstandsprojekte. Entwicklung und Betrieb von Microservices mit Spring Boot, Camunda, REST/SOAP und Kubernetes.
Responsibilities:
- Work on client projects for large companies and public-sector clients, embedded in their teams and taking full responsibility for your area
- Design, develop, and test Java-based microservices
- Develop synchronous and asynchronous REST and SOAP APIs and specify them with OpenAPI 3
- Implement process automation using Camunda BPM
- Automate tests with JUnit 5 and Cucumber
- Deploy your services, monitor them, and analyze issues
- Contribute to the architecture
- Generate, review, and refactor code using AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor
- Coordinate with integration partners across team boundaries
- Partially support developed services in production, including scheduled on-call rotations
Requirements:
- Senior level; deliver from day one and work independently
- Java and Spring Boot, including Spring Data and Hibernate/JPA
- Designing, developing, and testing microservices
- REST and SOAP web services with JSON/XML over HTTP and OpenAPI 3
- PostgreSQL and Oracle
- JUnit 5 and Cucumber
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD with GitLab Pipelines and builds with Maven
- Git, Jira, Confluence, and agile working
- Camunda BPM experience from real projects
- OAuth 2.0 and Keycloak for authentication and authorization
- German at native level or C1/C2 proficiency
- Fluent in English
- Daily coordination with business stakeholders and integration partners
- Productive use of Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor; AI tools are mandatory
- Advantageous but not required: Apache Kafka and asynchronous communication
- Advantageous but not required: XML, XSD, XSLT
- Advantageous but not required: experience in complex projects with multiple teams involved
- Advantageous but not required: legacy J2EE systems and their migration to Spring Boot
