Job Description
Junior Anti Money Laundering Manager at Kaufland overseeing compliance and risk management for e-commerce vendors. Collaborating with marketplace and finance teams to ensure robust processes.
Responsibilities:
- You review merchants primarily before they are connected to the shop (e.g., verifying identity documents, completeness of documentation and information, and performing PEP and sanctions list checks)
- You prepare information on relevant matters in accordance with internal and legal guidelines and are responsible for handling suspicious cases, including assessing whether the conditions for a report under Section 43 of the German Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG) are met, and—if applicable—preparing suspicious activity reports
- You contribute to the development and optimization of processes and systems
- You work closely with our marketplace and finance teams
Requirements:
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree, preferably with a legal or compliance focus
- You have knowledge in financial crime, compliance and/or the German Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG)
- You possess sound risk assessment skills and an analytical mindset
- You work independently and can make decisions, while also being a team player
- You are responsible, reliable and approach problems with a solutions-oriented mindset
- You can use Google Workspace applications confidently, and good English skills round off your profile
