Job Description
Junior Python Backend Engineer building and maintaining features for BrownRiceCapital, a cryptocurrency market maker. Using AI-assisted development, debugging, testing, and maintainable Python coding.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain features using Python
- Identify, debug, and resolve issues in the code
- Use AI tools to support development while reviewing and testing their output
- Write clear, maintainable code and verify that it works as expected
- Work remotely with BrownRiceCapital, a cryptocurrency market maker and liquidity provider
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a backend engineer with Python as the primary language
- Strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience working with Python at a product-based organisation
- Familiarity with AI tools and their practical use in software development
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Node.js is a plus
- Trading domain knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
- Must be a citizen of India and currently based in India
- Candidates able to join within 30 days are sought
