Job Description
Senior Java/JEE Entwickler:in für ein neues EFAS-Anwendungssystem beim Versicherungsbranchen-Kunden. Entwicklung cloudnaher Software im Greenfield-Team von Konzeption bis Betrieb.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sophisticated, sustainable software solutions as a Senior Java/JEE Developer in a newly established Greenfield team
- Design and implement architecture-compliant solution options in accordance with internal guidelines
- Contribute throughout the entire software lifecycle according to the “You build it, you run it” principle—from conception and development through to operations
- Develop with modern technologies such as Java, event- and workflow-based architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Apply modern software engineering practices, including Clean Code, Clean Architecture (Onion Architecture), TDD, BDD, and DDD
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, quality assurance, and product regression testing
- Actively contribute to the Scrum team and take responsibility for jointly developed solutions
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and other development teams
- Contribute your own ideas, experience, and suggestions for improvement, and constructively challenge existing solutions
- Continuously enhance the technical solutions and actively help shape the future application and architecture
- Be willing to develop expertise in the Swiss healthcare system, particularly the EFAS environment
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in software development with Java/Jakarta EE (JEE) in complex and challenging environments
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps; experience with modern cloud and container architectures is highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of Clean Code, Clean Architecture, TDD, BDD, and DDD
- Experience with event- and workflow-based architectures
- Experience in web development and with Angular
- Experience working in agile Scrum teams and with a Lean-Agile mindset based on SAFe
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with complex domain topics in the Swiss healthcare system
- Experience in the health insurance sector is an advantage
- Independent, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious approach to work
- Team player who is open to new ideas, communicates proactively, and is willing to constructively challenge existing solutions and practices
- Enjoy working directly with business stakeholders and other development teams, with a strong willingness to learn
- Fluent in German and English
