Job Description
Quality Engineer focusing on software quality and agile processes at Sicredi. Involved in automated testing and quality improvement initiatives throughout the development cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the structuring of the quality strategy, considering all aspects of the solution from requirements definition through code development;
- Design and execute test scenarios based on business requirements in the form of user stories, as well as manage tests and be familiar with the tools used;
- Develop automated tests for web services and UIs (API, web and mobile);
- Participate across the entire product development process, from conception to production rollout and maintenance;
- Take part in collaborative product design;
- Participate in Quality Chapters and Communities of Practice, promoting and spreading a quality culture among colleagues and teams across our operation.
Requirements:
- Work across the full software development lifecycle;
- Create test strategies at different levels (Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance) using manual and automated testing;
- Create and run automated tests (for Services/API, web and mobile interfaces) with pipeline execution (Jenkins, GitLab);
- Perform testing of mobile applications (physical and virtual devices) and financial applications;
- Implement process, technical and tooling improvements for the team and the operation to enhance quality;
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in teams, particularly with Agile Testing;
- Validate non-functional requirements;
- Validate deployments in the production environment;
- Knowledge of Java;
- Experience with frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit;
- Familiarity with frameworks/tools such as Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, BrowserStack;
- Knowledge of software development practices and design patterns;
