Job Description
Freelance Korean Instructor teaching language and culture through Berlitz’s online method. Customizing lessons, documenting progress, and motivating students remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare lessons using provided material and customize instruction based on students' needs
- Create a risk-free environment where students can make mistakes and experiment with the language
- Document students' progress after each lesson
- Use the Berlitz Method of instruction
- Motivate students to achieve their language goals
- Deliver instruction using Berlitz platforms and technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Teaching experience is a plus but not required
- Expert-level Korean
- Intermediate English
- Exceptional communication skills
- Minimum 15 Mbps download speed and 15 Mbps upload speed
- Stable wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not sufficient
- PC or laptop running Windows 11 or higher, or Mac OS 14.8.9 or higher; Linux does not support the applications
- USB headset and camera
- Backup system for devices where load shedding occurs
- At least 2 GHz base processing speed
- RAM equal to or above 8GB
- Commitment to provide 15-20 hours per week
