Job Description
Lead physician clinical informatics for Rackner’s Military Health System technology programs. Govern clinical content, workflows, adoption, and federal stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical governance by reviewing and approving clinical training materials, guidance, and knowledge resources
- Establish standards for evaluating clinical proficiency and effective use of healthcare technology
- Lead reviews of recurring workflow and documentation issues and identify improvements
- Provide clinical guidance to field and exercise teams
- Coordinate appropriate clinical informatics support
- Participate in clinical governance and performance discussions with Government stakeholders
- Represent clinical priorities in discussions with clinical, technical, operational, and Government teams
Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. with board certification
- Clinical informatics leadership experience within the Military Health System (MHS) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA)
- Hands-on experience with MHS GENESIS (Oracle Health)
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Travel to military treatment facilities and exercises as required
