Job Description
Lead Senior Principal Cloud Developer at GDIT transforming technology for mission-critical government projects. Expertise in cloud computing and development with Node.JS and React.JS required.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions
- Maintains the integrity and security of systems
- Maintains all documentations
- Supports and develops automation
- Develops in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Monitors and tunes the cloud systems to achieve optimum performance levels
- Works across teams and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts
- Deals with escalations. Makes assessments, recommendations, or provides solutions to resolve issues
- Composes and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, et al.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Development background in Node.JS and React.JS
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Design and implement data processing and integration solutions using ETL tools.
- Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization.
- Must be a US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, US Citizen)
