Job Description
Teamlead Cloud Engineering leading a small team to shape and optimize Azure infrastructure. Collaborating with international teams for process improvement and system performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Actively shaping the modern Azure environment together with a small team
- Operating and optimizing the infrastructure; responsible for AKS clusters, Application Gateways, and VMs
- Analyzing incidents at 2nd/3rd level
- Close collaboration with international teams
- Documenting architectures and processes
- Optimizing the performance of our systems
- Responsible for reliable backup and recovery concepts
Requirements:
- Degree in IT or equivalent qualification
- Strong Azure expertise — especially in AKS, VM management, networking, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Azure SQL
- Experience in Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access)
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VPN and firewall technologies
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and cloud-native technologies
- Proficient with automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep or Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic IT security and compliance knowledge (ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator, M365 Enterprise Administrator or CKA are a plus
- Ideally some initial experience in team leadership
- Structured and analytical working style
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
