Job Description
CloudOps Specialist responsible for AWS operations at SoftExpert, a leader in software compliance and digital transformation. Seeking a collaborative person with solid cloud knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy scalable, reliable cloud applications;
- Select appropriate cloud services to design and deploy applications based on specific requirements;
- Migrate multi-tier applications to cloud platforms;
- Drive continuous improvements to existing systems;
- Troubleshoot infrastructure vulnerabilities and other issues during the deployment of new applications;
- Ensure efficient operation of services while always adhering to the company's cybersecurity policies;
- Train teams on the use of new cloud technologies and initiatives;
- Coordinate cloud project progress with IT leadership;
- Support negotiations with vendors for service procurement;
- Minimize costs by implementing expense-control strategies.
Requirements:
- Knowledge/experience in infrastructure;
- Knowledge/experience in security;
- Knowledge/experience in compliance;
- Strong experience with AWS;
- Solid knowledge of containerization;
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
- Advanced knowledge of pipelines and complex automations;
- Strong scripting experience with Bash;
- Knowledge of programming languages in the context of software development;
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools;
- Good communication skills, ease in building relationships and sharing knowledge;
- Technical leadership.
- Experience with Python;
- Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform);
- Knowledge of security and automation tools;
- AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform certifications;
- Advanced English.
