Job Description
Licensed Christian Counselor delivering evidence-based, faith-integrated telehealth counseling. Serving individuals, couples, families, and adolescents through HCO Behavioral Health Services and Elevate Healthcare Group.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality individual, couples, family, and/or adolescent counseling services via secure telehealth
- Integrate Christian faith and Biblical principles into counseling sessions when requested by clients and clinically appropriate
- Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required clinical documentation
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions while respecting each client's spiritual beliefs and treatment goals
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice
- Collaborate with other providers and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in team meetings, consultation, and ongoing professional development opportunities as appropriate
- Serve clients experiencing behavioral health concerns within the counselor's scope of practice
Requirements:
- Possess a strong Christian faith and desire to serve clients seeking faith-integrated counseling
- Be comfortable incorporating Biblical principles into therapy when requested by clients and clinically appropriate
- Value clinical excellence, compassion, integrity, and professionalism
- Possess one of the following active, unrestricted licenses in their state of practice: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), or another independently licensed behavioral health professional
- Be in good standing with their licensing board
- Possess malpractice insurance or obtain it prior to beginning services
- Be eligible to provide telehealth services
- Have excellent communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
