Job Description

Licensed Christian Counselor delivering evidence-based, faith-integrated telehealth counseling. Serving individuals, couples, families, and adolescents through HCO Behavioral Health Services and Elevate Healthcare Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality individual, couples, family, and/or adolescent counseling services via secure telehealth
  • Integrate Christian faith and Biblical principles into counseling sessions when requested by clients and clinically appropriate
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required clinical documentation
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions while respecting each client's spiritual beliefs and treatment goals
  • Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice
  • Collaborate with other providers and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in team meetings, consultation, and ongoing professional development opportunities as appropriate
  • Serve clients experiencing behavioral health concerns within the counselor's scope of practice

Requirements:

  • Possess a strong Christian faith and desire to serve clients seeking faith-integrated counseling
  • Be comfortable incorporating Biblical principles into therapy when requested by clients and clinically appropriate
  • Value clinical excellence, compassion, integrity, and professionalism
  • Possess one of the following active, unrestricted licenses in their state of practice: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), or another independently licensed behavioral health professional
  • Be in good standing with their licensing board
  • Possess malpractice insurance or obtain it prior to beginning services
  • Be eligible to provide telehealth services
  • Have excellent communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
