Job Description
Licensed therapist providing outpatient telehealth care through Brave Health. Diagnosing conditions, creating treatment plans, and supporting clients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time outpatient therapy services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan
- Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Develop treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Partner with clients to achieve care goals
- Provide care through telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Complete 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients per day
- Support access to care for patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning
- Comfort using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Current independent licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent listed credential
- Willingness to complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
- Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required for market expansion
