Job Description

Field-based Therapy Specialist promoting Johnson & Johnson haematology medicines across NHS Trusts and local accounts. Developing strategic plans, supporting patient access, and delivering sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinically promote J&J Haematology medicines to ensure optimised appropriate patient access
  • Lead business plan implementation within NHS Trusts and defined local accounts
  • Deliver tactics supporting appropriate local uptake of medicines with the cross-functional team
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for targeted haematology customers
  • Lead sales tactics and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts
  • Conduct product presentations and therapeutic area discussions for healthcare providers
  • Develop local advocates and share their experiences with the wider healthcare professional community
  • Provide customer service and product support to healthcare professionals
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales, customer interaction and performance records in the CRM system
  • Report to a National Sales Manager within the Haematology Department

Requirements:

  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience highly preferred
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field
  • ABPI qualified
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, compliance, and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and engage collaborators
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs and attend industry events
  • Expertise in haematology therapy, products, competitors, scientific and business knowledge
