Job Description
Cell therapy applications specialist supporting Cytiva’s biotechnology customers across the UK and Ireland. Providing technical demonstrations, training, and pre- and post-sale scientific support.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Specialists within the territory based on customer demand for scientific applications
- Provide pre- and post-sale support, product demonstrations, seminars, training, and support for territory sales objectives
- Apply advanced scientific and technical product knowledge within the relevant modality and customer context
- Provide in-depth technical support remotely, in person, or in the lab
- Conduct demonstrations or experiments for or with customers
- Follow up on samples with technical advice and/or experimental support
- Deliver regional customer training and develop application-driven training courses and demonstrations at customer sites and high-level scientific meetings
- Build and strengthen technical relationships with customers
- Identify application scalability opportunities and products or services that deliver cost savings and productivity gains
- Educate customers on the benefits of proposed solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in biotechnology, life sciences or relevant field
- Preferably in cell biology, biochemistry, and immunology
- 5 years of applications experience from the Biotechnology industry
- Cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management
- Comprehensive Cell Therapy, Viral Vector or nucleic acid process (upstream/downstream) expertise
- Understanding of customers’ key business drivers
- Insight with networks and contacts
