Job Description
Independent life insurance agent helping Houston-area families secure protection through a proprietary lead system. Building a personal book of business with commission-based income and team overrides.
Responsibilities:
- Connect with interested clients through the proprietary lead system
- Present life insurance and protection solutions tailored to each family's situation
- Follow the step-by-step system for consistent daily activity and follow-up
- Build and manage a pipeline of active clients and referrals
- Build a book of business through written policies
- Grow a team and earn overrides as the business develops
- Work at a self-determined pace, part-time or full-time
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experience in sales, real estate, finance, customer service, or another client-facing role
- Insurance experience is not required
- Coachable and willing to follow a proven system
- Ready to obtain a life insurance license if not already licensed
- Willingness to perform consistent daily activity and follow-up
- Not applicable for candidates seeking a guaranteed paycheck or base salary
- Independent contractor/1099 arrangement
