Job Description
Loan Originator generating financing business for Dunmor, a direct real estate lender serving residential and multifamily investors, builders, and developers. Managing borrower relationships, loan structuring, and pipelines through closing.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business and source loan opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with borrowers, investors, builders, developers, brokers, and referral partners
- Evaluate financing opportunities, structure loan scenarios, and negotiate lending terms
- Develop repeat business and referrals through customer relationships
- Maintain an active loan pipeline from initial opportunity through closing
- Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate CRM records
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline performance, and production results
- Coordinate with Customer Care, Credit, and other internal teams to support timely processing and closing
- Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the financing process
- Communicate updates and help resolve issues
- Represent Dunmor at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Build awareness of Dunmor's lending programs and generate loan opportunities within assigned markets
Requirements:
- Experience in building relationships, developing new business, and guiding borrowers through the financing process
- Ability to source new loan opportunities through direct outreach, existing relationships, and referral partners
- Ability to meet or exceed monthly loan origination targets
- Ability to evaluate financing opportunities, structure loan scenarios, and negotiate terms consistent with lending guidelines
- Knowledge of local real estate markets, lending trends, and competitive offerings
- Ability to maintain accurate and current prospect, customer, and loan information in a CRM
- Ability to coordinate with Customer Care, Credit, and other internal teams
- Ability to represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
