Job Description

Cloud infrastructure manager leading Azure operations, migrations, governance, and team delivery. Supporting Coastal Community Credit Union’s financial services and local member communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assigned cloud strategy initiatives through work plans, migration priorities, resource coordination, risk management, and measurable outcomes
  • Manage workload assessment, migration, modernization, stabilization, and decommissioning activities
  • Balance cloud transformation with reliable operation and lifecycle management of existing infrastructure services
  • Provide delivery, service, cost, and risk reporting to the VP and governance groups
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports with accountability for service ownership, team delivery, cost controls, and continuous improvement
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and a respectful, engaging, and productive work environment
  • Build internal capability in Azure operations, cloud financial management, automation, and modern service practices
  • Manage assigned partners and vendors to support delivery, service quality, cost control, documentation, and knowledge transfer
  • Support the Cloud Centre of Excellence by applying approved standards, guardrails, patterns, ownership models, and exception processes
  • Manage availability, performance, capacity, support, maintenance, monitoring, lifecycle, service ownership, service levels, documentation, escalation paths, change controls, after-hours support, major incidents, recurring problems, recovery tests, control gaps, operational risks, and cloud financial management practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technology discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant Azure or FinOps certification is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in infrastructure, cloud platforms, systems operations, or platform engineering
  • At least three years in a people or technical supervisory leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience operating Microsoft Azure in a governed enterprise environment
  • Experience managing cloud migration or modernization activities
  • Strong knowledge of Azure governance, landing zones, identity and access, networking, monitoring, compute, storage, backup, recovery, automation, and cost management
  • Experience with hybrid infrastructure, workload migration, managed cloud services, infrastructure as code, and service management
  • Working knowledge of cloud security, privacy, compliance, resilience, disaster recovery, and audit requirements
  • Experience leading teams, budgets, vendors, contracts, operational services, and technology projects
  • Ability to explain technical, operational, risk, and financial matters clearly to non-technical leaders
