Job Description
Marketing Data Analyst II analyzing web, product, and automotive marketing performance for Team Velocity. Building measurement dashboards, tracking strategies, and actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
- Build and iterate dashboards to help stakeholders monitor KPIs
- Analyze user behavior and marketing channel performance to generate actionable insights
- Troubleshoot tracking and data collection issues
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives to support product and marketing decisions
- Lead A/B test planning, execution, and post-test analysis
- Monitor performance metrics and set up alerts for key anomalies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand goals and translate them into measurement plans
- Mentor junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical approaches
- Report directly to the Measurement & Reporting team manager and work alongside other analysts
Requirements:
- BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business or related field, required
- 3+ years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics, required
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and Claude, required
- Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems, required
- Working knowledge of SQL and strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets, required
- Comfortable with troubleshooting tracking issues, debugging, and QA
- Strong communication skills for sharing findings with technical and non-technical audiences
- Working knowledge of AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY, highly preferred
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools such as Optimizely, highly preferred
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Google App Script, and GitHub Actions, a plus
