Job Description

Marketing analytics specialist owning paid acquisition strategy, experimentation, and measurement. Helping Tameson’s industrial e-commerce business improve marketing returns through data and modeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the paid acquisition strategy and make the business case for marketing spend
  • Run paid advertising campaigns and measure their results
  • Extend and improve attribution models and quantify uncertainty
  • Take ownership of paid advertising strategy based on data insights and experiments
  • Design and evaluate A/B, geo, holdout and CRO experiments with power analysis and randomization
  • Build models for capital allocation across marketing channels, including saturation curves, diminishing returns and MMM
  • Analyze customer journeys, search query data, marketplace performance and CRM datasets
  • Develop customer and audience models to guide targeting, channel selection and bid levels
  • Build analytics dashboards and reporting for CAC, POAS and LTV
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics Lead, Marketing Lead, Product and Operations teams
  • Test new channels and automate complex workflows using modern data engineering tools

Requirements:

  • Background in a quantitative field such as Statistics, data science, physics, computer science or similar
  • A university degree in a quantitative field is strongly preferred; a strong demonstrable track record can substitute
  • Understanding of how paid acquisition drives revenue and profit
  • Ability to turn analysis into an executable strategy
  • Enthusiasm for using AI and LLMs to improve productivity and enable internal workflows
  • Results-driven focus on revenue and profit
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product and Operations teams
  • Skeptical approach to underpowered tests and last-click reports
  • Availability Monday through Friday
  • Minimum overlap with working hours from 12:00–17:00 GMT+1
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads or Meta is a plus, not a must
