Job Description
Medior AI Developer building production AI features with C#/.NET and Azure services. Modernizing 5CA’s internal and client-facing customer-experience platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deliver platform and AI-solution features in C#/.NET and Azure Functions through production
- Implement integrations using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft Copilot
- Contribute to prompt and grounding design
- Design, develop, and test REST API integrations between platforms and client systems
- Work with Azure SQL and Entity Framework Core within established data models and tenant-isolation patterns
- Follow Git, GitHub Actions CI/CD, code review, and AI-augmented development practices
- Review colleagues’ work
- Instrument and monitor production systems and act on telemetry
- Break assigned items into deliverable steps, estimate work, and flag scope or timeline risks
- Document work and proactively share knowledge
- Refine requirements with the Product Owner and engineering colleagues
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on software development experience
- Proven proficiency in C# and .NET, including experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Experience working with relational databases and object-relational mapping frameworks such as Azure SQL and Entity Framework Core, or comparable technologies
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD practices in a professional environment
- Professional working proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently on clearly defined tasks and escalate challenges with proposed solutions rather than problems alone
- Strong written communication skills with a structured approach to documentation and knowledge sharing
- Comfortable collaborating asynchronously within a distributed, remote-first team environment
- Minimum internet speed of 15 Mb/s download and 15 Mb/s upload with latency <120 ms, internationally
- Minimum 8 GB RAM
- Windows 11 (all editions except Windows S Mode), or macOS 13.0 or newer
- CPU Mark of at least 7368; 8th Gen Intel or above, or Ryzen 2nd Gen or above
- Integrated graphics card
- Smartphone for two-factor authentication running Android 10.0+ or Apple iOS 16.0+
