Job Description
Quality Engineer owning automated testing and quality strategy for webhook integrations. CI&T delivers AI-powered technology transformation and business solutions for large enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the quality strategy for the webhook solution
- Become deeply familiar with the existing codebase, architecture, APIs, integrations, and business workflows
- Design and execute functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Develop and maintain automated test suites across appropriate application layers
- Validate webhook events, payloads, responses, retries, error handling, and failure scenarios
- Test integrations across dependent systems and identify potential integration risks
- Validate authentication, authorization, permissions, and security-related scenarios
- Define quality gates and release-readiness criteria
- Identify defects early and collaborate with engineers to diagnose and resolve them
- Perform root-cause analysis and improve overall quality
- Embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Leverage Agentic SDLC and AI-powered engineering capabilities for test design, automation, codebase analysis, and quality improvement
Requirements:
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) (nice to have)
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts (nice to have)
- Experience with performance testing tools (nice to have)
