Job Description
Freelance iOS app tester evaluating Acclaro's financial management application. Completing weekly remote test assignments, screen recordings, and English reports across Portugal.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate a financial management mobile application from an end-user perspective.
- Execute assigned mobile app testing scenarios.
- Follow detailed testing instructions and workflows.
- Record the smartphone screen while completing test cases.
- Identify and document unexpected app behavior.
- Submit screen recordings and concise test reports.
- Report issues clearly and accurately in English.
- Complete assignments within project deadlines.
- Complete approximately one testing assignment per week.
- Deliver assignments within 1 to 2 business days every Monday.
- Participate in a project lasting approximately 2 to 3 months.
Requirements:
- Must have an active personal bank account with a bank operating in Portugal.
- Must be willing to log into the application using your own bank account during testing activities.
- Must own a smartphone running iOS 18 or later.
- Must have an active mobile phone number registered in Portugal.
- Comfortable understanding written English instructions.
- Comfortable following English-language testing guidelines.
- Comfortable writing brief test reports in English.
- Comfortable installing and using mobile applications.
- Comfortable following detailed step-by-step instructions.
- Comfortable identifying unexpected mobile app behavior.
- Comfortable recording a smartphone screen.
- Comfortable submitting reports accurately and on time.
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
- Own smartphone device.
- Quiet environment for independent work.
- Ability to complete assignments within the requested timeframe.
- No previous software testing, QA testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), or mobile application testing experience is required.
