Job Description
Motion Designer Senior role at Jusbrasil focusing on video creation and animation. Collaborating with teams to enhance brand engagement through innovative motion graphics.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit videos and motion graphics for institutional campaigns, marketing content, social media, and internal projects, ensuring adherence to brand identity.
- Develop storyboards and conceptualize visual narratives, transforming ideas into structured visual scripts.
- Animate graphics, text, illustrations, and logos in 2D and 3D using tools such as After Effects, Premiere, and other Adobe platforms. Creating kinetic typography and logo animations is part of the motion designer’s scope.
- Apply design and animation principles, ensuring consistency in color, typography, pacing, and storytelling. The motion designer should be able to receive and incorporate feedback, adapting to scope changes.
- Use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate content, accelerate prototyping, and optimize workflows, integrating them into the creative workflow.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (art direction, graphic designers, marketing, product) and external partners, understanding the needs and priorities of each project.
- Review and revise materials based on feedback, keeping files organized, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality standards. Ongoing revisions and adjustments are part of motion deliverables, especially in educational or corporate environments.
- Contribute to other Creative team deliverables, such as static assets, infographics, and graphic materials when needed – the role is not limited to video work.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D animation, video editing, and, ideally, some 3D projects.
- Proficiency with Adobe tools (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) and knowledge of 3D software (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.) or storyboard and animation creation software. Familiarity with audio software (Audition) is advantageous.
- Solid graphic design foundation: understanding of composition, color, typography, and visual hierarchy. Strong art or design background to convert concepts into animation.
- Ability to build storyboards, script narratives, and align visual proposals with project objectives.
- Daily use of AI tools: familiarity with generative solutions (such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Firefly) or other platforms that optimize asset and frame creation, as they are an inherent part of creative workflows and complement the work.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Collaboration and communication: ease working in multidisciplinary teams, receiving feedback, and presenting ideas clearly.
