Job Description
Video/Motion Designer crafting visual content that captivates audiences for CreatorIQ. Collaborating with marketing teams and leveraging motion graphics to elevate storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animated assets, short-form videos, and social content that reinforce CreatorIQ’s brand narrative.
- Edit podcast clips, customer stories, creator interviews, event highlights, and long-form assets into compelling, channel-optimized formats.
- Edit raw footage into brand-aligned video content for social, web, paid media, campaigns, and events while shaping narrative structure, pacing, and tone to meet campaign and brand objectives.
- Translate static designs into dynamic motion assets and animate graphics such as infographics, data visualizations, titles, lower thirds, transitions, logos, and UI/product graphics.
- Version and resize content for multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube, paid media, slide decks, etc.) and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5).
- Source and incorporate licensed music, sound effects, and stock footage where appropriate to enhance storytelling.
- Perform color correction, basic color grading, and audio balancing to ensure visual and sound consistency across assets.
- Manage asset exports, compression, and delivery specifications across channels and distribution platforms.
- Develop visual systems, templates, and reusable motion toolkits that scale content production across the organization.
- Maintain organized project files and media libraries to support efficient workflows and long-term asset management.
- Collaborate with marketing, brand, and creative teams to execute creative briefs and deliver high-impact visual content.
- Provide input on production feasibility, timelines, and technical requirements for video and motion projects.
- Apply and uphold CreatorIQ’s brand guidelines across all video and motion work to ensure consistency, quality, and a modern visual identity.
- Experiment with new formats, styles, tools, and platform trends—transforming insights into repeatable playbooks and best practices.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, and multimedia production, ideally within B2B, SaaS, agency, or creator-driven environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality motion design, video editing, and visual storytelling work.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent motion and video tools (e.g., Cinema4D, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Figma).
- Strong understanding of modern visual storytelling principles including pacing, typography, transitions, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong technical knowledge of video formats, compression, export settings, and distribution requirements.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms, websites, campaigns, and product or brand marketing initiatives.
- Understanding of platform-specific best practices across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and paid media channels.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
- A collaborative, iterative, and feedback-friendly approach to creative work.
- Familiarity with production workflows and collaboration tools such as Frame.io, Asana, or similar project management platforms.
