Job Description
Contract Animator creating Minecraft Shorts and Intros for CatFace's YouTube channel. Collaborating with Marketing and Production teams to deliver engaging content.
Responsibilities:
- Animate YouTube Shorts and Intros using McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture Mods
- Create character movements and performances for characters and mobs based on provided scripts
- Ensure assets and messaging align with release schedules
- Familiarity with Minecraft mods and tools used in content creation
- Edit and deliver content using basic Premiere Pro workflows
- Iterate quickly based on team feedback while meeting production deadlines
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Minecraft
- Experience creating short-form video content (YouTube Shorts/TikTok/Reels)
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and within small teams
- Ability to iterate quickly without sacrificing quality
- Comfortable working from scripts and production briefs
- Passion for creating family-friendly entertainment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Familiarity with McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture Mods (bonus)
- Knowledge of YouTube gaming trends (bonus)
- Experience with character-driven storytelling or skit content (bonus)
- Strong time management skills (bonus)
