Job Description

Analista júnior atendendo incidentes e diagnosticando redes de provedores e operadoras na IPV7. Executando procedimentos, consultas e configurações acompanhadas em ambientes críticos.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to, record, and follow up on incidents and requests related to network infrastructure
  • Perform initial triage of connectivity failures, outages, latency, packet loss, and service degradation
  • Perform diagnostics using tests, queries, logs, alarms, and device information
  • Analyze interfaces, IP addressing, MAC and ARP tables, routes, utilization, and errors according to procedures
  • Support configurations and maintenance of routers, switches, and other equipment, under technical supervision
  • Execute standardized procedures and low-complexity changes following team guidance
  • Document evidence, actions taken, and results in the tickets
  • Escalate to analysts, customers, carriers, and vendors according to escalation flows and SLAs
  • Monitor maintenance windows and support validation testing
  • Keep documentation, diagrams, inventories, and knowledge bases up to date
  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities
  • Identify recurring incidents, risks, and improvement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Solid foundation in networking and interest in developing skills in ISP and carrier environments
  • Fundamentals of TCP/IP, OSI and TCP/IP models, IPv4, IPv6 and subnetting
  • Basic knowledge of switching: VLANs, trunks, MAC tables, STP, and link aggregation
  • Basic knowledge of static and dynamic routing, especially OSPF and BGP
  • Ability to interpret addressing, routes, interfaces, latency, packet loss and availability
  • Familiarity with ping, traceroute, MTR, nslookup/dig and SSH access
  • Basic experience configuring and querying devices via the command line
  • Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NAT, SNMP, Syslog and Linux
  • Availability to work shifts, on-call duties, or scheduled maintenance windows
  • Experience, internships, or hands-on practice in support, infrastructure, networking or telecommunications is valued
  • Introductory courses or certifications in networking, Linux or telecommunications are a plus
