Job Description
Network Engineer designing and supporting Cisco and Fortinet infrastructure. Securing scalable IT environments for Integris clients across regulated industries.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet devices across client environments
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization
- Resolve complex network incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in network-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
- Participate in service transition activities with Professional Services
Requirements:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience
- Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Level 4 or higher preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, preferably in a managed services or service provider environment
- Strong understanding of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and FortiOS
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and service management practices
- Experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS environments is a plus
