Job Description
Network Test Engineer at Comcast responsible for design and implementation of network solutions. Providing technical support and guidance while ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design and implementation of the company's internet protocol network.
- Provides expert-level technical support and operational guidance.
- Contributes to real-time network analysis and solution testing.
Requirements:
- Experience of working for a Internet Service Provider
- Strong experience and understanding of Routing/Switching technologies i.e. IP/MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Segment Routing, Layer2/3 VPN’s, QoS
- Previous testing experience and knowledge of Ixia and Spirent tools
- Experience on Cisco IOS-XR platforms (ASR and NCS)
- CCNP or equivalent certification
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Huawei, Nokia F5 or Fortinet devices would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Git and Python or any other programming language
- Knowledge of NETCONF-YANG, open and vendor specific models, as well as JSON and XML markup languages.
