Job Description
Senior QA Automation Engineer building automated API, web, and mobile test frameworks for CodeRoad’s technology delivery clients. Integrating QA into CI/CD pipelines and mentoring automation engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable automated testing frameworks across API, Web, and Mobile layers
- Build, maintain, and execute end-to-end automated test suites
- Embed automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
- Perform deep automated API testing for RESTful services
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to define acceptance criteria, isolate edge cases, and eliminate defect spillover
- Mentor L1/L2 QA engineers on modern automation practices
- Conduct code reviews for test scripts
- Establish standardized QA automation guidelines within the POD
Requirements:
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in Software Quality Assurance with a primary focus on test automation in fast-paced software environments
- Advanced hands-on expertise with enterprise automation platforms: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern language used for test script creation: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#
- Solid experience in automated RESTful API testing using RestAssured or Postman
- Experience integrating test suites into modern Git-based CI/CD pipelines
- Proven track record in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup environments
- Autonomous, quality-first mindset
- Advanced English skills, written and spoken, mandatory for direct collaboration with U.S.-based product and engineering leaders
