Job Description
Senior Test Engineer designing manual and automated testing strategies for Inabia’s telecommunications, technology, and healthcare solutions. Ensuring software quality through CI/CD, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
- Conduct regression, integration, functional, and performance testing
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and user stories, providing input to improve design and testing efficiency
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution
- Implement best practices for software testing processes and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD)
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and testing methodologies
- Analyze testing outcomes, provide test results, and generate comprehensive test reports for management review
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high standard of code quality
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in testing and integrate them into the testing process as appropriate
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
